Us locals are not all crazy, just some of us! As to camping, go west at Dale Road and 30, on Dale, go down about 2 miles, to the blinking light past Yackies, Freeman Road is at the blinker, turn right, -no you are not lost - about 1.2 mile to 1 mile down the road ends, or it looks like it... turn right with this curve/corner, ... this is Blakely Rd. a short distance down is Tobacco Campground, the driveway entrance to the campground looks like someones drive way. It is hard as heck to find in the phone book, but they are reasonable and have hot showers and full bathrooms, no outhouses, and also have power hook-up for half of the sites. If you are looking to reserve for the holidays, call them ASAP, the number is 989-435-8626 , from this place, by boat, the ride to Pontoon Alley is about 20 minutes... depending on the driver... ;0)

it would be nice if more of the locals would interact on here so that those that arent locals can see what a friendly place it really is..
